Edition 2017.1 - Connection
The first edition of 2017 will make a connection between Geneva, the city where the project was created, and Rio de Janeiro, the host city of the Olympic Games of 2016:

With approximately 490,000 inhabitants, where 41% are foreigners (data from 2015), Geneva is the 2nd most populous city in Switzerland.
Together with New York, it is the most important center of diplomacy and international cooperation due to the presence of numerous international organizations, making Geneva the headquarter of several departments and branches of the United Nations, the Red Cross and UNESCO - leading the City to have the nickname of "City of Peace", since there have been several treaties signed for world peace.
The Brazilian art market is characterized as young, dynamic and in the process of expansion and internationalization, where 29% of the galleries (approximately 100) are in Rio de Janeiro.
Owner of a stunning landscape and considered one of the most emblematic cities of Brazil, Rio has about 6 million inhabitants (data from 2015). It is the 2nd most populous city in Brazil.
Hosting many international events, including the Confederations Cup, World Youth Day, 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games, Rio's population exudes irreverence and sympathy and arouses the curiosity of tourists from various parts of the world.
Considered one of the most important financial centers in the world, Geneva breathes art.
With around 40 galleries scattered throughout the city, it is possible to visit fairs and art circuits practically during all the months of the year.
